omfg.2011 is almost here! I cannot believe 2010 went by so quick. I think its time we give it a formal goodbye... and what better way, than to do a 2010 Bestest Junk list! wooooooohhhhhhhh!... ok that was a Fail. but whatever, here it goes. 

1. Best Thing Random thing I Learned this year!

By the way people, this means "shaking my head". I had no idea.... I thought it was like a noise that someone makes? like "smmmhhh"? oh well, dont judge me.

Until 2010 I was scared to death to press the "poke" button. I thought for sure it would accidentally delete someones profile. Haha. Now I realize its just a way to piss someone off through the web. "Poke." "Poke." "Poke."  -.-

awwww. Look how happy he is! I think that Kanye West has made a huge comeback! He went from being one of the most hated people, to one of the most only slightly hated people... did that make sense? idk. But I love his music - you go kanye!

"Nicki Minaj"

Nicki Minaj is honestly one of the few people who can wear a green wig and look AMAZING. She is so creative. Even if you don't like her music (because your deaf and have no taste) you can still appreciate her spunk. :) btw. Did ya'll know that her real name is "Onika Tanya Maraj"... hmm ok, Nicki. we still love you!

"A portable seat that can be strapped to lamp posts and other poles. It is light weight so it can easily be carried by the elderly" okkkk... I have a couple of problems with this. Why exactly do old people want to sit on lamp posts? And personaly, I dont want my grandma "resting" on a street corner? Thats not a good look. hmmm. Life's many mysteries.

Christmas Update

      


Once upon a time there was a blizzard in the northeast. This magical blizzard made traveling terrible. It ruined everyone's Christmas. The End...... JUST KIDDING. :)) but seriously. - I had a terrible time traveling this year. In the past week I have been on 3 planes, 3 boats, and in 4 cars. :/// And thanks to the blizzard, I spent the entire day after Christmas at the airport waiting for a 2 hour plane ride. life can be really "no bueno". 
     But besides the traveling, my Christmas wasn't that darn bad. I got a new laptop! I found my semi-clone in Florida who works at a food court in Ft. Lauderdale. I snorkeled for the first time in the Gulf of Mexico! I won 120 dollars in a casino (sort of - I'm too young to gamble, but I picked the slot machine that my dad played.lol) Anywho - I don't have any complaints. Life is good! :)

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

So, today was pretty much a perfect day. I got everything I wanted for christmas, I hung out with my family, and I watched good movies. I talked to some of my closest friends and they too seemed to have a wonderful day. And its going to snow later on tonight!! Soon I will be eating a delicious bowl of ice cream. Life is pretty good right now. I hope everyone had a wonderful day and will continue to have a great winter break.

Creeper Alert

Okay, this blog is about to get personal - very personal. This is a very touchy subject for a lot of girls... but here it is... Creepers. Yes, that is a very "untechnical" term - but hey... Yes world - I have a creeper. 

So here is my very personal story that is just between me and you... (and the rest of the world)... Once upon a time, there was a magical homecoming. I was having a wonderful time (a big step up from sophomore year when I threw my "Anti-homecoming" - complete with DVD's and pizza). I was dancing with my friends when I saw the cutest boy. period. long story short, we danced and had a great time. I didn't know his name, and he didn't go to my school. At the end of homecoming, we parted ways and I thought we would never see each other. However thanks to, you guessed it, FACEBOOK - that was all a lie. We texted day and night. at school. In the car. At lunch. In Homeroom. While I was doing my homework. At dinner. ALL. THE. TIME.

Thats when it went downhill for me. I started getting physically sick from talking to him. I know this sounds ultra-crazy - but yes. He was texting me so much that I was getting claustrophobic. I started getting migraines, and I would literally turn off my cell phone, and hide it get away from the constant "bzzz" of a new message. I stopped responding to him, but he wouldn't leave me alone. He messaged me on Facebook so much that I almost deleted my account. To this day, (JoJo and Assata as my witness), I avoid Facebook at all costs. 

The worst part, two months have past and it hasn't stopped. He texts me once every week. Less than before, but this is a start. Lucky for me I don't have to see him at school. But either way, this isn't okay. Creepers - STOP. Girls - IGNORE THEM AT ALL COSTS. Your life is too short to spend it creeping on others. (that wasn't very poetic - I know). Anyway, I don't really understand why things like this happen, but just know that if anyone out there is having problems like this.. AMERICAN MINOR IS HERE FOR YOU. tell us your personal story, it might make the difference to someone else!

Grocery Store Madness

I know it's a magical season and there is happiness everywhere, but there is still one source of turmoil and pain in my life. THE GROCERY STORE. I hate the grocery store. I hate the lines. I hate the coldness of the frozen food aisles. I hate the check out lady with the attitude. I hate the rude old guy stacking food on the shelves. I hate how it takes forever to load all the bags in the car. I hate how it takes forever to bring the bags in the house. I hate how it takes hours out of our lives that we will never get back. I hate the very essence of the grocery store.

Surprise, surprise guess where I just came from before I started writing this - the grocery store. I wonder sometimes, we can go to the moon, make a car drive faster than the speed of sound, use a cell phone to talk to people in China, but we cant come up with a better way to get food! It's ridiculous. Is it just me? Am I just the grocery store demon??? I didn't think so

Taking pictures may be one of the best ways to capture great memories in your life time! Cameras are one of the greatest things that have been invented!!! Are you one for the big professional cameras, sleek and fashionable, or for the modern and innovative cameras? How about those cool vintage cameras? I think vintage cameras are so cool because of their uniqueness and the fact that one never looks similar to the other. Me, only having a normal Nikon slim camera, sometimes wishes I had a qwerty vintage camera instead. Unfortunately I don't! Hot Sauce and Soy sauce? whaaaa

Okay i have a revelation folks! We all know Chipotle is the BOMB and just so addicting but sometimes it can get a little repetitive you know, going their every hour of the day. (Ok not every hour of the day just every other day :)...I'm kidding still haha:). But anyway, my order usually consists of either the tacos or the burrito bowl. This post is dedicated to the delicious burrito bowl.
My Burrito Bowl:

1. steak and barbacoa--all because of jazz!
2. cilantro-lime rice
3. pinto beans (idk why a lot of people don't like beans!!
4. cheese; sour cream is so nasty and they just like to pile it on!
5. lettuce
6. light corn (too many onions)

Well those were my original ingrediants for my bowl. After a while i got bored of the same taste as i said it became repetitive and it needed some spicing up with my own imagination! So i experimented!(CAUTION-experimenting with many ingredients+chipotle can have dietary effects) jk. So i opened my cabinet of ingredients and found some Texas Pete hot sauce and some soy sauce( two things i usually top my other foods with) I sprinkled a little of that and that on that and that and came up with a puuuure delish Chipotle bowl! Yes this sounds very nasty...hot sauce and soy sauce? Well all i can say is...dont knock it till ya try it!

I encourage all readers to go and experiment with your CHIPOTLE bowls,tacos,burritos, and etc.!!!!

The countdown to the New year..

We can all acknowledge that the Christmas season is most certainly here with all the parties and presents, but what about the New Years? Are we all ready to welcome in the new year? It was just a day ago it seems, when we were welcoming the 2010 year but now its about to be 2011!! Too me it is kind of unbelievable! What should I expect this new year, will this year be a not so great year? Is this year going to be the best year of my life!?  Is my social life going to ever get better( personal problem :>)? Well I don't know until we get there but lets hope for the best.

Misfits

Misfits. Basically the best show ever to be created....ever. It's a British sci-fi drama about these five kids who have to do community service. Their first day on the job, there's a freak electrical storm and they get super powers. It sounds weird and stupid now, I know, but once you start to watch, it's pretty mindblowing. Its a little graphic at times, but if you think you can handle it...be my guest. Because we live in America, we don't get E4, the channel Misfits comes on, so I watch it on youtube. I know you can download the episodes and there are live feeds. It comes on, on Thursday. Know what that means? Thursday is now the best day of the week. Tonight's episode was insane! It was also unfortunately the next-to-last episode of the second season. It.was.so.intense.Go watch to find out what happens!

The Shopaholic Series by Sophie Kinsella.

The Shopaholic Series, is centered around a girl named Becky Bloomwood, who is obsessed with shopping, even when she's being stalked by her banker. There are five books in the series, so far. Since I'm on winter break, I took a trip to the library and picked up the fifth book, among many others. Nonetheless, they are just BRILLIANT! Becky is naive and hilarious and shallow in a very adorable way. She's like a British-adult version of Cher from Clueless. Anyways, I definitely recommend them. They are witty, refreshing, and very much so addictive. Have you read them?

this time of year. We get presents, we're out of school, and we get to pig out on holiday food. That sounds like heaven to me. Are you guys as big of fans of Christmas as me?
